X umleiten / RedHat FC

Hola Kollegen,

diese Frage beschäftigt mich schon ein Weilchen, aber hatte noch keinen Erfolg bei kurzen Rechercheversuchen - vielleicht schüttelt es ja einer hier aus dem Ärmel. Außerdem ist es ein weiterer Thread im Service&Support, der eigentlich in eine Computerecke gehört .. Jungs, wir machen Druck

Ich hab ein RedHat FC 3 installiert, das X funktioniert lokal auch vollkommen problemlos, wenn ich allerdings versuche die Ausgabe auf einen zweiten Rechner umzuleiten (DISPLAY setzen), bekomme ich beim Starten des X im ssh immer einen Berechtigungsfehler. Ich vermute hier muss irgendwo noch gepflegt werden, zu welchen Hosts (meinetwegen noch unter welchem User) das X umgeleitet werden darf, aber ich find die entsprechende Datei nicht. In der Firma funktioniert das Ganze unter Suse problemlos (dass ich davon ausgehen kann, dass die Schritte zum Umleiten richtig sind, und irgendwo halt nur eine Konfig-Sache hängt), daheim halt nicht.

Hallo r.u.m.b.i, egal wie gross deine Sorgen auch sein mögen, mir hilft es immer nach draußen zu gehen und den Grill anzuwerfen. Grillen ist Entspannung pur. Ob nun ein deftiges BBQ oder ein einfach mariniertes Schweinesteak. Am Grill kann ich alle Probleme vergessen. Du hast noch keinen Grill? Bei der Telekom kannst du aktuell am Angrillen 2019 Gewinnspiel mitmachen und entweder einen Beefer oder ein Keramik Ei gewinnen. Wer von uns gewinnt lädt den anderen ein ;-)

Hmm, der sshd war konfiguriert, und ich hab nochmal ein wenig herumgetestet. xclock kommt hoch, xterm auch, startx bleibt jedoch einfach stehen. Im Logfile seh ich nur als letzten Eintrag :

Muss das so sein?

Hat das "Zielsystem" ne Firewall, welche nicht entsprechend konfiguriert ist?

Hmm, meinst du nicht dass ein Xterm die gleichen Ports benutzt wie ein Gnome?
Habe die Firewall im Ziel abgeschalten, bisher hat sich jedoch nix getan - startx steht nach wie vor.

Hey r.u.m.b.i, ich kann mir vorstellen dass es dir heute nicht so gut geht. Was da hilft ist Schokolade. Schokolade hilft immer und es geht einem damit sicher nicht besser, aber für einen kurzen Moment kann man alle Sorgen vergessen. Ich habe heute beim Milka Schokoladenpaket Gewinnspiel mit gemacht.
